Together with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, some members of the network have organised a reading on German colonial history in East Africa.

On 3 May 2024 at 19.30, we cordially invite you to a reading with Aert van Riel in the Campelle. He will read from his book Der verschwiegene Völkermord.

The author will read from his book about the resistance to German colonial rule in East Africa, which culminated in the Maji Maji War (1905-1907). The author will also talk about his experiences and encounters during his research in Tanzania.

The Campelle (Thomas-Fincke-Straße 16, 24943 Flensburg) is located on the Flensburg campus and can be reached by bus lines 4, 5 and 8. There is also ample parking available.
